Christmas Holidays 2011

Sawyer placed the star on top of our tree!

This Christmas tree skirt is very special because it was hand-made for me about twenty years ago by my MaMa Thomason.

Nana Sheila and Jenny made this gingerbread house with Sawyer and Olivia. This picture shows the gingerbread house before Olivia ate the gumdrops off the edge!:)She's a sneaky one!!

Mom made this Christmas dress twenty something years ago for one of my cousins. If you look closely you can see that it is smocked. I'm glad the dress is still around for Olivia to enjoy!

This picture was from Polar Express Day at Sawyer's school. He wore his dinosaur pajamas. He had a great time with his friends that day!

Grams bought Olivia a beautiful necklace!

Olivia likes her new piano!

Sawyer has really been into drawing a lot lately so we got him a Cars2 drawing set. There is a light that makes it easier to trace pictures.

Olivia got a new inflatable sleeping bag for when we travel. She and her new Dora doll got inside.

We all had a great time up at Uncle Dan & Aunt Judy's house!

Katie and Olivia

The White Elephant game was hilarious!!

And Olivia played the biggest joke....when no one was looking she opened up one of the gag gifts!!

It has been wonderful having daddy off work for 10 straight days!!! Woo-hoo! And now we are looking forward to visiting with the Boyds next weekend!!

Remembering Papa Mattox

Today is my Papa (Jimmy) Mattox's birthday. He passed away while we were living overseas. I miss him, and especially today on his birthday. I am thankful for the memories and pictures that I have to hold on to.

Gratitude Monday

So much to be thankful for today and always....

Thank you to Eric, my wonderful husband, for being an outstanding father to our two children. We had a great Father's Day yesterday. He chose Papa John's Pizza for dinner-- great for him and great for me (no cooking)!:)

Also I'm thankful for the vacation that the children and I took last week with my mom. Also my Nana, aunt, uncle, and cousins were there! We went to Daytona Beach, Florida. Here are the beach pictures.
